Self Defense Products are a basic necessity in todays dangerous world. However the task of choosing which self defense weapon is right for you is a difficult task. So we have created this page to give you some insight to help you choose what self defense products would fit your needs. But remember this; A self defense product does not take the place of your most important and effective tool... your brain. Your brain tells you to be alert, be aware of your surroundings, take appropriate action, and is your primary defense against anyone that is out to hurt you.

Pepper Sprays - Pepper spray & Mace sprays are our top rated product for effectiveness against an attacker. Pepper Spray is an inflammatory agent made into a formula derived from very hot peppers. When the liquid stream or mist, foam, or gel gets into the person eyes, nose and respiratory system, their capillaries swell up. Eyes are forced shut and breathing is made extremely difficult. So they cause the attacker or attackers to stop the attack almost instantly giving you time to escape and call police. Also Many pepper sprays have dyes that will aid the police in identifying the criminal. We carry various pepper sprays in different sizes, types & brands. We also carry disguised pepper sprays such as the Pepper Pager which looks like a pager which gives you a distinct tactical advantage. A criminal or anyone else for that matter won't even look twice and that gives you an advantage for the element of surprise should you be attacked. For our women customers we have a product just for you, a lip stick which actually contains pepper spray. The best rated pepper sprays we carry are Mace Pepper Gel & Wildfire 18% spray. However all the pepper sprays we carry are excellent sprays and are very high quality. No matter which spray you choose, you cannot go wrong.

Stun Guns - All of our stun gund are high quality. We carry powerful stun guns with voltages ranging from 80,000 volts through an unbelievable 1,000,000 volts! Stun Guns are really good at detering or stopping assailants. Stun guns are electrical self defense products that emit a powerful static electricity charge that overrides the muscular group that it is applied to. It makes the muscle group expand and contract at a very fast rate which depletes the blood sugar from the muscles rendering them inoperable for a short period of time. This unexpected shock and the quick depletion of the use of the muscle group can change the mind of the would be attacker for the immediate time being allowing you time to get away and call for help. As a rule of thumb, the higher the voltage the quicker the assailant will be detered or stopped allowing you time to escape. Remember it takes usually over 3 seconds of contact with a stun gun to cause an attacker to loose their balance and fall to the ground and become dazed for several minutes. Don't be afraid to grab ahold of the assailant when firing the stun gun into the assailant's body because the shock cannot pass back into your body. Also grabbing the attacker is a good idea because the natural human reaction to getting shocked by a stun gun is ti back up and get away from it.

We recommend that if you want an expandable steel baton for self defense, you should educate yourself on how to properly use these telescopic steel batons by searching the internet for informational websites, or sites where you can purchase books or videos that show you some techniques and the proper way to use these weapons or better yet if possible get professional training. The steel batons are non lethal when used properly, but when used incorrectly thay certainly be lethal and that can get you into serious legal problems even if you used the baton for self defense and it happened to kill the assailant. A telescopic steel baton hit over the head of someone coming at you can not only knock them unconscious, but if the blow is hard enough, can also cause death. Knives - Lots of people purchase knives for self defense from us. Yes they are very effective against an attacker when used properly. But most of the time using knives for self defense unless life and death struggle, will usually give you a 1 way ticket into prison. Using knives for self defense under most state laws is classified as deadly force. If you decide to buy a knife such as our folding knives for protection, we strongly advise you to educate yourself in the art of knife fighting. Search the web and find some informational websites, and buy some books, videos, dvds or do the best recommended thing of all, get professional training on how to properly use a knife for protection and when to use it. Also know your state laws on deadly force. Using a knife for self defense falls under the same category as using a firearm. Use the knife only if your life is in danger or to protect yourself from serious bodily injury when all else has failed to get away from the assailant.

Martial Arts weapons - We don't sell ninja weapons really to be used for personal protection, more for fun & novelty items. For example say you mastered the art of throwing our throwing stars and you used these against an attacker, you most likely would get arrested. So we highly recommend you don't use these items for self defense reasons.
